Adult Sunday School
Adult Sunday School is composed of a four year repeating track in which we teach that which we believe to be most basic and helpful for Christian living. Our hope is that as one completes this four year track the individual will be prepared to disciple others in understanding and applying these basic truths and practices of the Christian life. Therefore, we encourage individuals, after completing these to go back through the tracks again with someone who is either a new believer or has not been through the tracks, meeting with the individual throughout the week to assist him or her in understanding and practicing those things taught during our Sunday School teaching time. In addition, instead of separating youth-aged children from other adults so that they might have their own class, we encourage parents to bring their children into these classes with them and then to speak with their children throughout the week to ensure they are understanding and practicing those things which are taught during this time. Within each year there will be two main classes offered in the fall and the spring. Individuals will choose to take one of those classes in the fall and the other in the spring so that after the year all individuals in the church will have gone through the same two classes. We will take a break from these tracks in January and the summer of each year during which time we will look at a number of issues together as a church including: A History and Theology of Hymns, Marriage, Parenting, Missions, Apologetics, among other topics.
