My wife, Tammy, and I have two children and 3 grandchildren.  We have been married for more than 3 decades and are thankful for the kindness of God in allowing us to share this temporary life together.  We have served as missionaries with the International Mission Board, and I have been a pastor for much of our married life.  Currently, both Tammy and I are teachers in public schools.

One day I was walking in the bush in the Migori District of Kenya with a young Kenyan pastor who, filled with joy, said to me, "I am a preacher of the gospel."  I, too, am a preacher of the gospel.  God has made me to be a pastor, missionary, and preacher, and I see no distinction between those roles.  

I count being one of the pastors of Cornerstone as the greatest privilege God has given me.  Serving with the other pastors at Cornerstone and serving the church body has proven to be a deep well of fellowship.  Jesus always saves the best wine for last.
